We were happy with this computer for about a week. Then the screen would unexpectedly go blank for no reason. You had to turn it off then back on to get it to work and lose all of your work in the process. Tech support was absolutely no help at all. ...

Pros: None in particular.
Cons: Defective.

I bought one of these in August. within 2 weeks, the screen had started going dark while I was working on it; nothing could get it to work again short of shutting it down manually and rebooting it. I took it back to the store and they exchanged it for a new one; they said that the problem had to be hardware, not software. Well, the new one did the same thing, this time within 2 days of being taken out of the box. I took it back again and discovered that the model had been discontinued; given my experiences with them, I can't pretend to be surprised.

I now have an HP.

Pros: easy to use,tons of memory and harddrive space,wifi is built in.for the price it's excellent.
Cons: no card bus slot,only express card.doesn't last too long on battery power.sometimes screen goes black.

the a215-s4757 price compared to what you get is 2thumbs-up.this computer is great for buyers that do not have alot of experience with computers.it is very easy to use alot,alot of memory and plenty of space to put your pictures,music,programs.i strongly recomend for first time or unexperienced users like myself.
