Pros: Three-piece ball, half the price of the Pro V1 Cons: It's a ball for the scratch golfer or low handicapper
A buddy of mine gave me a couple of sleeves of the Titleist NXT Tour Golf Ball a couple of months ago, and they laid around in the bottom of my bag before I decided to use them for a round or two because at about $2.00 a ball, it was half as cheap ...
Pros: Good Distance, Accuracy, Durability, Overall Performance Cons: Until recently she was very over-priced.
There was a time when I refused to write a review of the NXT Tour because it confused me so much. It was Titleist's opportunity to literally put a lock on the bargain 3-piece market, but they kept the MSRP up around $40.00 preferring profit margin ...
Pros: Soft feel and above average control Cons: Not quite tour caliber
With all of the commercials for the Titleist NXT Tour balls running on the Golf Channel, I decided that I had to try them out for myself. I new that the model that they released last season and will continue through at least the 2006 season was ...
Pros: Respectable distance, nice feel, true putting ball. Cons: A little jumpy on the greens, heavy out of bunkers.
Forgot my ProV1īs at home on my last golfing vacation, that lasted 4 days. Add to this the fact that beach courses always takes a toll on your usual hitting distance...I was not feeling very happy at all. In fact, I felt kinda naked out there.
...
Pros: Distance, accuracy, durability Cons: Not as much spin, feel a bit firm
I am a 12 handicap, drive the ball 255-265 on average, and rely heavily on my short game to save pars. That said, I usually play balls with more spin, specifically the ProV1 and ProV1x. Now I will be the first to admit that I do not make full use of the ...
Pros: Great feel, perfect for the bump and run. flies well. Cons: cannot spin like a pro v1, however can be hit well enough to create spin.
These days, everyone loves the Pro V1. Either that, it's the Callaway HX Tour, or the Srixon urethane ball. Although many prefer such balls, the real question is how many utilize the pro v1 to it's maximum potential. For those who know backspin isn't the ...
Pros: Price. Lower spin rate. Durability. Cons: Not good for faster, harder conditions.
This is a review of the Titleist NXT Tour golf ball. This is considered a mid level quality golf ball. I usually play the Pro V1x and sometimes I run into trouble if the course is playing soft or if the greens are ultra receptive. The trouble being ...
Pros: Long, Cut Proof, Soft Feel Cons: Abrasion of the cover, average spin levels with the wedges
The Titleist NXT Tour is a very long ball with the driver and long irons and has a nice soft feel on the putter. This ball has a cut proof guarantee and great durability.
This ball is suited to the mid handicaper who is looking for some more feel...
Pros: All that was said about the 2003 version, plus what I've observed. And under $30.00! Cons: John Cleese should shut up!
Noticed the reviews on this product were two years old. The advancements in ball technology are such that anything older than a 2005 version should be relagated to the shag bag. The NXT Tout has gone from a 2-piece to a 3-piece in 2005, and I've noticed a considerable increase in distance over last years model. Performance relative to qualitative aspects of this ball are comparable, but geeeeeze!, I'm hitting the ball further now than when I was 23 years old! My 58th is in November. CHECK IT OUT at around $26.00 US.
Pros: Overall great value for money. Cons: Can shred the cover after ~2 rounds.
This ball could be called the Pro VI junior, and at half the price offers great value for money.
Has good distance with a medium flight. On short shots into the greens gets good bite with reasonably good bite.
Has a soft feel when using the putter.
Overall great value for money.
Fantastic prices with ease & c...(Stock status: N/A)
