Pros: The game is huge with a lot of different missions. Cons: The main game is too short.
Spiderman may have movies that made millions at box office but all I remember about the dude in red and blue PJ's is that most of his games sucked. For example: has anyone ever played Spiderman Return of the Sinister Six before? Fortunately, that ...
Pros: fast-paced and amazing web-slinging action, hundreds of missions and challenges, all of Manhattan available Cons: sub-missions can be repetitive, no multi-player
Spider-Man is one of Americas most beloved superheroes, and this has been justified by his recent movie successes. The first two Spider-Man movies have grossed hundreds of millions of dollars on the big screen, thus ensuring hundreds of other ...
Pros: Swinging as Spidey is fluid and fun, not much else. Cons: Movie represented poorly, voice acting, redundant missions that encompass 95% of this game.
...I rushed out and bought the game for the Xbox (the definitive version, as the PS2 and GC are subpar) on the morning of its release and played it anticipating a masterpiece but was disappointed. It's not that the game is lousy, it just isn't a keeper. ...
Pros: Great Graphics and Fun. Cons: Controls are a pain, background characters are blocky.
Activision and developer Treyarch have given gamers a special gift this Summer and it is a game that is simply the best comic book inspired title ever to appear on a console. Fresh off the success of "Spider-Man 2", the game is a worthy companion piece ...
This game would be a great rental because it is so short. The game is very fun though. Some of the missions can be pretty frustrating. For the most part each of the missions are pretty short.
The gameplay is very fun and sometimes it glitches. My friend had just beat a boss that he had tried to beat for a long time and it just showed a helicopter for a long time until he turned it off.
The sound isn't that great because some of the voice overs in the game have horrible actors.
The value is terrible because you can beat the game in such a short amount of time.

Pros: Gigantic city playground, well-programmed moves, no end to the fun. Cons: Repeating scenarios, fast plot, can't swim.
Simply put, Spiderman 2 is awesome. You can explore every inch of a well-designed faux replica of New York City, complete with the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and a bridge to Brooklyn. Who thought swinging through the city would be so fun? The graphics are great, the fights are fun, and the ability to do whatever you want is unparalleled! The first time I climbed to the top of the Empire State Building and looked out over the city was amazing. I honestly feel like I'm in the movie while swinging around, which, by the way, was programmed perfectly. You will not be dissatisfied.

Pros: great graphics, web play, and fighting system. Cons: slow start, and many dragging parts like getting 3000 hero points before finishing a scene.
As far a sequils go, their not always up to par. That is not the case with Spiderman 2. Like the movie, both the game and the movie were more story based, and felt more like the true Spiderman that we all came to love so dearly. As far as gameplay is concerned I loved it. The beginning was a little long, but it becomes very addicting, very quick. Most boys at one time in their lives dreamed of being Spiderman, and now with this game and its realistic gameplay, we can finally soar thu the city and sky.
Pros: Web slinging is fun at the beginning Cons: miserable graphics, way to short, to easy, missions keep repeating themselves.
I must say i am completely schocked to see all these great reviews about this game, from the first minute of game play this Game is a total dissapointment, the graphics are totaly unworthy of the xbox, and the random missions keep repating themselves, in the beginning it might seem fun but when youve stopped an armord car robbery for the 50th Time youll just feel like throwing your xbox out of the window. To make things work the civilians running around town all look exactly the same, and the fights with petty criminals or Super villains are just a Joke, i finished the Game in 6 hours dying about three times.
