Pros: Easy bluetooth phone. Lots of source options. Cons: Ipod unworthy. No ext. mike for cell phone. Detachable face hard to put on
I've had this unit for a month and it's a mixed bag. Ipod - If you plan on using an Ipod, you WILL go crazy! It will ALWAY start on the same song. Going to any play list takes a LONG time, and if you're in an out of your car, you have to go ...
Best Bluetooth function with minimum price!!!! by kerbba,Feb 25 '07
Pros: User friendly interface,Automatically connect my phone every time, Nice graphic,
Cons: No usb, DSO produces noise, funny appearance.
I've been using this HU for 1 month, It's worth every cents of my money. For the bluetooth fuction, it's more than I expect. It connects my K750i every time I sit in my car, you just turn on bluetooth. Unfortunately, my phone is not compatible with this unit for audio streaming. The mic under panel works just fine. The sound quality is better than other sony HUs. Comparing to my old Alpine 9856, the sound of BT5000 is acceptable but still lower quality. If you want to use this unit on bluetooth purpose, go ahead. You will never regret using this HU.
