This television is provacativly interesting because it provides crystal clear picture and 100% grade A sound. So if your looking for a T.V. especially one for gameing, this would be a good one

JUST GOT MINE SATURDAY IF YOU PURCHASE A LC-42D64U OR46/52" OF THE SAME MODEL RECEIVE A FREE BD-HP20U BLU PLAYER. THIS OFFER ENDS FEB. 3 I THINK.THIS IS MY FIRST LCD AND I WAS AMAZED AT THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURE RECEIVED EVEN WITH MY 12 YEAR OLD ANTENNA INSIDE THE ATTIC. THIS UNIT IS THE SMALLEST WIDTH WISE IN A 42" UNIT I COULD FIND IT JUST DID FIT INTO MY ENTERTAINMENT CENTER.IT HAS MORE INPUTS THAN I WILL EVERY USE. THERE SEEMS TO BE VERY LITTLE GLARE FROM WINDOWS AND OVERHEAD LIGHTING.CHECK OUT SEARS AND HAVT THEM PRICE MATCH AT 110% THE LOWEST YOU CAN FIND. SO FOR NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THIS TV, HOPE IT LAST!!

I recently purchased a Sharp Model LC42D64 High Definition TV from BestBuy Canada. I managed easily to carry the TV in the house easily by myself, box and all.

I found the TV very easy to use and setup. Very impressed with the picture quality, the overall fit and finish and the very sleek styling.

So far I haven’t notice any defective pixel. Note: Presently using a Toshiba A-30 HD-DVD player through an HMDI input as my HD source.

Pros: 1080p and good inputs all around
Cons: None

Just purchased this at Circuit City for about $1350 and it's impressive. HD and 1080 gaming looks very good. Excellent buy for the money.
