Sharp LC15SH7U 15 in. LCD TV

Pros: The TV does have a great picture
Cons: The sound is very tinny, no bass to it at all. Very expensive to fix

I bought this unit from Circuit City almost a year ago. It failed a few days before the warranty was up. Circuit City sent me to place to have it fixed. That cost me $30.00 and the guy told me to call Sharp. Sharp said if I want it fixed I need to mail to IL. At my cost, Pay $120.00 flat fee to have it repaired or replace with a used one. Then they will ship it back at my cost. My total will be about $180.00 for a TV that I bought for $279.99 a year ago. The TV does have a great picture but the sound is very tinny, no bass to it at all. My wife hates the sound. If you get one of these baby’s, you can not care want it sounds like and you better get an extended warranty.

Pros: Small, width fits where 13" does
Cons: Analog/Digital not integrated, digital drops, sound quality

I bought this model at Costco because of the size. It fit a special cabinet in my kitchen that was occupied by a standard 13"TV. The sound quality isn't very good. But my main complaint is that it continuously loses the digital feed from my basic cable. It also doesn't integrate analog and digital seamlessly as does my larger Magnavox

Pros: Can't think of any.
Cons: The sound is terrible

This product arrived defective. This product cannot be repaired locally. You have to ship it off and guess what?? Sharp wants you to foot the bill!!! What a crock!! I petitioned them for a prepaid shipping label and they just blew me off. It cuts off by itself after a short time of operation. It has features that will cause this but I have them all turned off so it should not be doing this. Fortunately this item was free to me as a result of a work award but now I have wasted my award on this sorry product from a sorry manufacturer that does not wish to take care of it's customer.
