Pros: Well-built, durable player at a good price. Cons: Screen doesn't have the sharpness of a more expensive model.
Sony's DVP FX810 portable DVD player is a solidly built device with a sufficiently long battery life. Although it doesn't come with headphones, it does include a number of useful accessories. While the nuts and bolts of the DVP FX810 are well-made, what ...

We have been through three portable DVD players in the past two years due to durability issues, cord issues, skipping issues and just not working at all issues. We have had the Sony player almost six months now and it is still going strong (surviving a ...
Pros: Looks and works great, hard acrylic protects the screen, sturdy remote. Cons: Expensive, replacement batteries are expensive too, doesn't play loud enough.
Sony's DVP-FX810 Portable DVD Player is one of the few name-brand players in a market of bargain off-brand competitors. While there isn't much performance difference to distinguish one portable DVD player from the next, (they all play DVDs on a little ...
Pros: Feels solid, Great battery life, Ok picture, dual headphone jacks, accessories included Cons: Picture quality could be a bit better, on board speakers, no carrying case
I got this using a Sony gift card and purchased it for $200. I wasn't looking for anything particular at the time, and I thought this DVD player would be great for going on trips and flying. I chose the Sony not only because I had the gift card, but it ...
We have a family with two children and have gone through several TV/VCR and TV/DVD combo products. After all those died, we went to Best Buy and found this one on sale. It was priced reasonably to similar DVD players. What sold me on it was the brand ...

We do presentations in other people's homes, and a portable DVD player is a great way to get our message across. The Sony brand implies quality, and it's a small, slick-looking machine. We could pull it out of a slim briefcase and be playing a DVD almost ...

I picked up this unit about 2 months ago after my previous portable DVD player died. I've always had good experiences with Sony products, but most of their DVD players are $$$$. When I saw this player for $200 I jumped at it. I am not disappointed at ...
Received this as a X'mas gift. Love the portability with dual head jacks, and 360 degree swivel screen. For the price, it sounds about right for Sony products. As for the sound quality, I would say average. For certain people, is not loud enough, but remember, this is a portable player. Meaning, you won't have it too far away from you. In short, the volume level is clear enough for short distance. When you use it with headphone, I think is loud enough to damage your hearing :)
I'm not really impress with the viewing angles, very limited. A lot of the time, I get somewhat distorted pictures when I move the dvd player. Sony can do better than this....a little disappointed.
