I have a hard time with my acne; I never thought I could really use a lotion because of my oily complexion. I needed to dry out my skin to keep it clear, but it was always too dry or not a dry enough. I experimented with a lot of lotions, most were too oily or didn't do anything! The Biore Pore Minimizing lotion is the most wonderful lotion I've ever tried. My older sister was having the same problems so I told her to try the lotion. She won't use anything else now! The only downside to it is the price. Even at Wal-Mart it's close to $13 for the little bottle. The good thing is a little goes a long way.
SPF 15 Some lotions are just lotion, which has its pros and cons. The Biore Pore Minimizing lotion has SPF 15 in it. So not only does it do all kinds of cool stuff for your skin, it also protects your skin throughout the day. Also, lotions with sunscreen in them almost always irritate my skin for some reason, but the Biore doesn't! It was the first time I'd tried lotion with sunscreen in a long time, but I immediately fell in love with it.
Gentle A lot of lotions that are used for oily skin have salicylic acid in it, so you can’t use it around your eyes. Biore doesn't have the salicylic acid but is in no way oily, so people with oily skin can use it as well. But that also means you can use it all over your face instead of trying to avoid the sensitive skin around your eyes.
Minimizes Pores Some products don’t live up to their claims. Biore is one of those few that do. This lotion is so awesome, you put it on your face, let it set for a few minutes and watch your pores shrink if not disappear! I don't know what they use to do it, but it works!
Leaves Skin Smooth The Biore lotion leaves your skin feeling velvety smooth. Your foundation goes on silky and natural looking. It's always good to have a lotion as a base for your makeup, because if you just put the makeup on, you still see a lot of bumps and imperfections. If you have a lotion that smoothes your skin, it will look more flawless.
A Tip Use makeup sponges! You have a lot of bacteria on your fingers and I have learned that your face will break out less if you don't use your fingers to put makeup on. Because you have all that bacteria, even if you wash your hands, you're getting it into your pores, which clog them with dirt. I told my mom about this and she tried it and noticed a big difference in breaking out less. This tip starts with applying your lotion, so I thought it might be useful!
