Pros: Engaging, Interesting, Some Great Journalism, Photos, Covers the LGB community Cons: Well, just read the reviews...there aren't many
Wouldn’t it be great if all Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals (I’ll use LGB from now on), could live the lives that Out Magazine paints for us? I mean, don’t we all live in urban centers, have great jobs with plenty of free time for vacations, have extra mone ...
Pros: Pertinent and helpful articles. Nice photos Cons: none for me except some excess silliness.
This was originally going to be another attempt at writing a short review that got to the point of what the magazine was about. I just did a word count and this is over the 666 word limit (Whats with the Devils numbers?) so I dont qualify...
Pros: big, glossy, pretty, serious Cons: sometimes shallow or trite
I've been subscribing to Out for a few years now. I tried Premiere and Interview. I tried Genre. I also sub to Movieline. But Out has stuck, mostly because I love getting those mysterious black or white wrapped packages in the mail.
Pros: It is gay and not pornographic. Cons: Lame stories and stereotypical commentary.
Out magazine is one of the leading gay magazine that isn't porn. I applaud the fact that another respectable publication has come out of the gay community. However, the magazine is, dare I say it, boring as all heck!!!
Pros: This magazine used to be something special Cons: each page, every month is fluff
Is it just me, or did everyone with any talent, intelligence or real style depart from Out Magazine this year? My God, Out used to be THE magazine I couldn't wait to read from cover to cover. It was so timely and cutting edge in terms of both current...
Pros: Good for a rich gay male! Cons: Bad if you aren't a rich gay male!
I used to be a loyal reader and subscriber to "OUT" magazine, but in the past year have become pretty disgusted with it. The magazine was a good mix of gay, lesbian, bisexual news and info, stories, and advice. It is now one big advertisement...
Pros: It is one of the few Gay/Lesbian magazines! Identifying, humorous and touching articles! Cons: Needs an equal distribution of issues that contain all of the gay/lesbian community, not gay males on month and then lesbians another month!
It seems to me that every time I get this magazine in the mail one month they will have a "mostly dedicated to gay males" then another month it seems a "mostly dedicated to lesbian month". I don't really like this idea.I would love it...
This National Gay Magazine is good but not as outstanding as it once was!
Out Magazine offers news, gossip, interviews, and editorials that are pretty good, however not as great as the other Gay Magazines on the market
for the Gay/Lesbian...
Pros: comprehensive coverage Cons: nothing real bad about it
This is a very comprehensive magazine that covers a variety of subjects of particular interest to Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender community. They have reviews of the latest movies, books and videos available. The magazine also has excellent...
Pros: it WAS really good.... Cons: it needs some help these days...
Now, don't get me wrong, I know we all have our "Bad Hair Days", but something really sour has happened to OUT Magazine the last few issues. I love OUT and really mean this as a positive opinion, I hope it comes out right....
Pros: at times entertaining Cons: not enough lesbian issues, too many "male" oriented ads, etc.
As a lesbian, I was excited to find "Out" magazine in a local store. At that time I became a "loyal" reader and subscriber, however, about three years ago, all that changed. Up until that point, I felt that both gay men and lesbians...
Pros: Down to earth Cons: could be a little more descrete with shipping
This magazine has real up to date, and down to earth articles. It has a major interview ( usually who ever is on the cover ) and has other articles about other issues. It has issues on politic and gays, about entertainment and gays, and articles about...
Pros: Low subscription price Cons: lost its meat, details, flavor and intelligence
I have read with agreement many of the other reviews on Out and have to agree with the majority of them. Out used to be the hip magazine for the Gay lifestyle. It contains some of the most top notch information for the Gay community and it's immergence...
Pros: lots of entertainment news, gay rights issues, but not too many Cons: where's all the articles for women? useless advice column
Though Out magazine is an amazing achievement in gay and lesbian advocacy, it's content is all but a bore. The magazine's low point do out number it's high points.
Out magazine is supposed to be for both gay and lesbian readers, but the...
