After flying on a 5 hour flight from Atlanta, we arrived to Ontario, California, at around 7pm PST. We were tired, and went out to wait for the bus. We then took the 6 minute bus ride to the rental car complex. We got in, and it was very quiet. We went up to the counter and showed the receptionist the papers we had printed off Dollar.Com.
We had rented a Dodge Charger on Dollar.com. The receptionist, who was nice, told us they did not have any more Chargers. I was a bit upset at this fact, but she offered us a 6 Passenger Chrysler Pacifica. I thought, alright, I guess I will take it. So, we walk through doors and found our car in the parking spot. We looked at it, and it had leather seats, which was really nice. (I did see 3 Charger's in the parking lot however).
During our experience, I started to hate the Pacifica. It seems like a wonderful car, but as you get to know it, it is horrible. The back hatch hits your head as you walk under it if you are tall, the back does not have much room with the seats folded down, unless you block your rear view mirror view.
We dropped the car off at San Francisco Airport. As we made our way to our gate, we realized that we forgot to give them the second key set. We called them up at the airport and they were very nice about it. They said "just send it in a envelope to our location and there will be no problem."
A pretty good experience. I was a bit worried though due to previous reviews, but my experience proved them wrong.
