I'm not in the Amazon, Amazon, so where are all my family's Xmas Presents?
I thought this year I would use the multi million if not billion dollar site to do my Xmas shopping. BIG BIG mistake!
After having made over £200 of transactions through Amazon's website, making sure I ordered items that could be delivered before Xmas I might add! I find out after waiting over a week for them to be delivered, that they are not going to make it here until January. I'm sure my nine year old son will understand that though. If not I can get him to call Amazon's helpful customer services who will happily inform him that this... and I quote is "a busy time of the year".... "no beeeeeep Sherlock".
All my family made wishlists this year on amazon in the hope we could all take a load off at this manic time of year. I now fear none of us will have many pressies to open on Christmas morning. Thank God for the invention of the champagne breakfast, at least that may take the edge of what is looking to be a very bleak Christmas morning.
So, to summarise: Amazon is a fantastic place to go for gift ideas for all your family and friends and to look at pretty pictures of all sorts of things.... but (and a big but at that) If you are thinking of actually buying anything, go to a site that can actually deliver as it says it can.
