My husband and I started bidding on e-bay about 3 years ago.We have been disapointed only a couple of time. One time was when we ordered dvd's and they were burnt off of the sellers personal computer Needless to say they didn't work at all.But we were refunded our money back.Ask the seller if the items are new, used, cracked, chipped, etc.I bought my grand daughter a sketchmate for Christmas about 2 years ago from wal-mart it cost about $22 dollars total including taxes.Oh how she loved that toy and one day about 3 or 4 weeks ago it got broke. someone stepped on it.I went to targets, walmart, k-mart and toys r us to find another one but come up empty handed then I went on the internet looking to buy another one from the company but they said that it had been discontinued. So I went on e-bay did a search and it was there.only one sketchmate.I missed the bid because someone bought it at the but it now price. they paid about $22 dollars for it.So the next day I went on e-bay and looked again and there was another one.At 1.99 starting bid. 4 days later it was mine at the price of $13.98 It was delivered 3 days later. If you bid on e-bay you must be AWARE of Shipping insurance
sometimes it is more than what you pay for the item itself. I paid 1.99 for the toy but paid 11.99 in shipping insurance.
