| The 1996 Skylark is available in six models - Custom, Limited and Gran Sport coupes and sedans. For 1996, the Skylark is equipped with dual air bags, traction control and CFC-free air conditioning. A new 2.4L engine and four-speed automatic transmission are also standard. Additional standard equipment include anti-lock brakes, theft deterrent system, power door locks, single-key lock system and battery rundown protection system. The Limited model adds cruise control, dual power mirrors, power windows and AM/FM stereo cassette. The Gran Sport is equipped with a 3.1L V-6 engine, aluminum wheels and upgraded instrumentation and suspension. Options include a power sunroof, remote keyless entry system and six-way power driver seat. |
