Pros: strong and a lot of endurance Cons: Low mileage per gallon of gas
I bought a 1991 Ford f150 4yrs ago and I never had any serious problems

Pros: Clean body, easy to get replacement parts for. Cons: Doors seem a little sloppy. Not tight enough in the closed position.
I cannot agree with the two of you as I have the same truck except with the 5.0 and 5 speed manual and I get between 20 and 22 MPG on the highway.
It's a fun old truck to own.
I'm up in Michigan and this is a Florida truck so it's real clean.
I'll be replacing the motor within the next couple of weeks as this one has a rod knock and leaks a quart every 200 miles.
So for $1500.00 I'll have a reliable, solid truck that gets better mileage than my 1999 Chevy Astro 4.3 V6 and 2004 HEMI Ram when I baby them.
