Had to replace a 9 year old Kenmore. Have a very tight space, this washer (stacking dryer too) fits extremely well and is full size! I never imagined that my clothes could be so clean! This washer is amazing and very attractive for a washer. The bells and whistles are outstanding. I now like to do laundry.

After reading many positive reviews here and on other sites, we decided to buy a new LG front loader to replace our Maytag Neptune junker. We had lots of problems with the Maytag and I was a bit hesitant to get another front loader. But it appears that the engineers got this one right. We are very pleased with our new LG washer. It's very easy to use, hardly need to read the manual, and the controls are well placed and intuitive. I too was worried about vibrations as we have our laundry room on the second floor. The instructions are very clear about taking extra time to level it properly. It actually was level from the factory, at least our floor was as well, and no adjustment was needed. We ran it up right away and there was no noticeable vibrations; it's well balanced and quiet. And as others have said, the clothes are much drier at the end of the cycle than with older generation front loaders.
We did buy the extended warrant only because of the issues we had with our other washer, and it was reasonably priced.

Cons: leaks, makes close smell like mold..

dont ever buy a LG washing machine, they leak, shake to much, and grows mold inside...No help from LG either, you cannot buy extented warrenties, they know there product is junk.
