Pros: High speed, high volume printer/copier with many functions Cons: Cheaper build quality than the older model Officejet 9110. No real problems so far.
I used to have an HP Officejet 9110 all in one (I also have a review of it on Epinions). After about 3 years and 100,000 prints, my 9110 is starting to have a few problems, although it still works for small print jobs, but on larger jobs it starts ...
Pros: Fast! Great print quality. Lots of features Cons: Big and noisy
We had a need to replace our old all-in-one with something a bit more rugged and modern so I started the great research adventure. After spending many hours online I was leaning toward one of the Canon or HP multi-function devices. Since we have started ...
Pros: Fast printing, multi-function, great for businesses, cheaper than laser Cons: Wireless can be tricky, bulky HP software
HP's line of Officejet Pros blur the lines between a professional business printer and consumer grade. If you think you want a color laser, consider this first!First, what it does well:It prints FAST. Occasionally it will ...
Pros: All-in-one Cons: We're on our 3rd one in 6 months
We purchased the Officejet Pro L7780 in August, 2007 and used it for 13 days when the fax module failed. We returned that one to the store for replacement. The replacement worked for 5 months before the document feeder failed. After calling Customer ...
Pros: Reasonable Speed, print quality, dual-sided, economical (when it works) Cons: Inaccuracies in printing, some paper handling problems. Frequent breakdowns
This printer seemed promising, but in-use it has not lived up to its promise. It feels rinky-dink compared to the more tank like qualities of my last HP Laserjet which died last year. I actually have owned every generation of the Laserjet from Series I ...
Problems with new 7780 leaking 2 cartridges of black ink all over! by janeboynton,Sep 04 '07
Pros: I wanted an all in one Cons: I wanted it to work
I bought a new 7780 and when it was going through the alignment setup it said to replace the black ink cartridge. Since it was brand new this was surprising, but I put in the new larger one and it said the same thing. I then noticed large pools of black ink on the file cabinet that the printer was sitting on. By the end of the cleanup I was covered with black ink and spent the afternoon trying to understand the person in India who was trying to help. They said they would replace the printer. It will be returned but I am not sure I want another HP. I had a Laserjet 2100 for many years and was most satisfied with it but am worried about this new one.
OfficeJet L7780 Wireless Issues by will310,Jun 27 '07
Pros: I like the professional appearance along with the features and many options. Cons: The wireless connect lockup on initial activation and tech support is no help.
Recently purchased a HP Officejet L7780 for use in a Home Office. I was not able to review the experience current users prior to my purchase which may have been a mistake. One of my main buying decision points was the wireless feature on a high usage printer to incorporate with wireless laptops for maximum portability. I also like the scanner and copy functions.
One of the best products I have ever bought by denverwade,Nov 21 '07
Pros: easy of use, does everything perfect Cons: none
This machine has performed like a champ. It's quiet, as it should be. My old laser actually increased the room temperature. This machine operates unnoticed. Everything it does, it does well. It prints, faxes, scans and copies just as it should. I had planned on buying a laser, but after doing my research, I was swayed into buying this machine. I cannot say enough good things about this unit. I have no complaints. I am a mortgage broker, so this machine really gets a workout with all of my daily use. The ink cartridges last a long time too.
I happened to speak to an HP rep, and he told me that the machine performs so well that there is a bit of a rivalry going at HP between the ink jet guys and the laser guys. An ink jet just isn't supposed to perform like a laser, and yet this one does.

Pros: It's not too big to be carried to the city dump by hand. Cons: Fifteen words is not enough.
Over complicated piece of crap. Jams regularly. Many firmware issues. Scanner lite comes on and stays on when not needed. By doing this they are attempting to sell bulb replacements. Installation issues and software conflicts. If you have a few faxes to send and 1 of them fails, the printer disconnects itself from the network and you have to reboot the printer to get it to work again. HP tech support barely grasps the English language. Hours and hours on the phone with horrible tech support. Don't buy this product. I am going to throw it away and go back to a Brother.
