Cons: Noisy, LEDs way too bright for night use

When looking for a fan to cool my bedroom at night, I found the Sharper Image Deluxe Spire Feel-Good Fan. I thought that it would be a great idea to be both space-saving and stylish. Well, stylish it was, spacing-saving it deserves some credit, but that's about it. In the store the noise volume was acceptable; at home it was not only unacceptable, but "unsleepable" . The oscillation mechanism made more noise than the Wal-Mart special that ended up replacing it. And there was an important warning left off of the box: LEDs will not let you sleep!! It was like having my own personal robot with its search-light eyes scanning back and forth across the room!! I finally had to cover the LEDs. Stylish and space-saving for the den or living room, maybe. Not for sleeping with.
