COBY products in general are cheap knockoffs of other products. Even their name and logo are designed to resemble "SONY".

My DVD player stopped working within 2 weeks.

In addition to having to pay $10 to ship it back to them I have to pay THEM $6 to send me another one.

No reputable company charges YOU to fix THEIR shoddy workmanship.

I will never buy another COBY product and urge you to look elsewhere.

Cons: Can't withstand a drop. Controls aren't that great.

Got this free from DirecTV for signing a new contract. We used it for our 4 year old for about 3 or 4 months. One day he dropped it on the tile floor in the kitchen and now it's toast. Wasn't a very far drop...I think portable electronic devices should stand up to more than that.

I purchased 2 of these portable DVD players for my grandsons for Christmas (ages 7 & 3.) They absolutely love them. They have taken them on trips and to many hotels. What a lifesaver flying to Florida (3.5 hrs.) The kids were quiet and with earphones, so were the DVD players. Even the 3 year old can operate it fully. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a DVD player that won't cost an arm and an leg.

I have owned this camera for 5 months. I like the way that it handles and the way you can zoom your subjects in and out. It's a pratical camera and I feel it's a good buy. I paid too much for mine. I see that it's going for $99.00. I paid $129.00 for mine on sale. The original price was $149.00.

I purchased this for the local Pep Boys for 89.99 it had a rebate.
After charging it for the recommended 4 hours I spent 4 hours trying to get it to work reading the manual and going online.
I brought it back to the store and they didn’t want to take it back because it was opened. I said how do I know it works if I can’t try it duh! Took another home to find the screen didn’t work just sound tried to make the screen brighter but it didn’t work so went back and had to go through that again. At this point I got another brand and put a warranty on it.

Pros: Good battery life,over 90 pics with Video using lithium batteries. Still ready to go.
Cons: None found yet. Max zoom a little grainy full screen, expected though.

Great body size, very compact. Buttons very easy to access. Haven't played with all the features yet, but very impressive for the $$$!!

This camera is a paradox. A great camera, if it lasted for more than 100 days and had the support and service one thought came with an HP product. It is easy to use, takes excellent pictures, but in North America it comes with only a 90 day warranty (everywhere else in the world it is a full year - welcome to WW III)and HP is not producing parts to repair this Chinese made camera, so if it breaks...throw it away. I will never buy another product made by HP, or for that matter, made in China.

I just returned one of these to WalMart for another brand. It had all the features I wanted. But it was hard to turn on because of a recessed switched in a groove of the top panel. The display was jerky also. The menus were easy to use if I could just have gotten the thing turned on and off and focused before the kids stopped doing what I wanted to capture in the photo.

Overall great value for the money...nice picture...decent sound quality...nice looking...very lightweight..Most notable problem is lack of a battery meter...you never know how much time is left until the low battery warning comes on which means you have about 5 minutes left. Also the controls are a little confusing. You need to take time to read the manual and learn how to use them
