Pros: Hot product. Tiny. Good sound overall. Fun. Cons: Harder to get going than they say. Worthless booklet. Bad lanyard.
After two months with the iPod and with i
Tunes,
I'd say I made the right decision in going with the 1 gig for my son. I did a lot of research prior to making the purchase. With some time for the new to wear off, we're ...
Pros: Compact, simple to use, great sound quality, easy to sync with ITunes software and fun! Cons: Pricey for it's capacity. Would like to see the 2GB at this price range.
Can one love an inanimate object? I hope so because I LOVE my IPod Nano. I recently received "Roxie" as a gift from my husband - yes, you can name your Nano...it may seem weird but I really like that they give you that option. The name shows up in ...
I got a iPod Nano for my birthday. After almost 3 weeks I am now confident I can write a consistent Review. * IT LOOKS GOOD The iPod looks are perfect. It is a State of Art piece of equipment. The looks are only rivaled by the solid feeling you get ...
Pros: Small, flash drive instead of hard drive, lightweight, easy to use. Cons: scratches easily, not a ton of storage space, must have same computer to update.
General Information When it comes to size vs. storage you can't go wrong with the Nano from apple. It is the smallest mp3 on the market and offers three different sizes of memory (1gb, 2gb, and 4gb). The 1gb holds up to 240 songs or 15,000 digital ...
Pros: easy to use. compact. versatile. great sound quality. Cons: smallest amount of memory. rumored to have easily damaged screen
I love my Apple iPod Nano 1 gig! It's streamlined design makes it easy to carry anywhere. It holds hours of music. The sound quality is better than I expected. It's very easy to use, even for the technologically impaired such as myself. The Apple ...
Pros: Lightweight, good sound quality, ease of use Cons: Price, space per dollar, earbuds, only fits about 200 songs, durability
When you decide you are going to purchase an Apple iPod, the nano should not be considered. If you read the fine print on the Apple website, or if you have another size iPod, somewhere on there it will say something like "actual formatted capacity ...
Pros: Music wherever you go,whenever you want. Cons: Battery does not last, not enough room.
I bought an iPod a few years back, and thought I was making a smart purchase. I had bought a 4 GB, and was ecstatic about getting it hooked up and ready for me to listen to. It was easy and quick to get it started and upload music. I listened to it ...
Pros: SMALL! Clear sound, easy to use.Cheap! Cons: SMALL! unsure of battery life expectancy.
My kids wanted iPods. It's the hottest thing now amongst the kids. And it had better be iPod or nothing. So I picked up 3 of these babies from my favorite internet retailer-Newegg.com at $99 ea. This was in September and it was a weekend special, I do ...
THE WORST THING I EVER PURCHASED!!!! by melodylubart,Sep 24 '06
Pros: When you first get it, it's a dream for a few months. Cons: Hard to reach Apple Support!!
Boy, what a bummer this turned out to be. I purchased this in May for $163.00.
It worked until September. Then it decided not to work anymore. I tried running diagnostics. I did everything. Forget about getting through to Apple Support. Takes forever and when they do answer, they can't help you.
I have sent this thing in two times for repairs!!! Whats wrong with it? I can't access my songs, the battery discharges too fast. I keep getting the same message on the display screen "FireWire connections are not supported, To transfer songs, connect the USB cable provided.
That's all it says. AND IT WON'T SHUT OFF, AGAIN!!!
Like I said, I sent it back to them 2 times and both times they returned it to me saying, No problem found!!!
The iPod Nano 1G. - It's The Right Choice by olliethebird,Jul 31 '06
Pros: sound, ease of use,USB charging, photo storage and much much more.... Cons: iTunes program
I did alot of research before buying an MP3 player and I mean A Lot. I knew That I'd like to have an iPod but everything except the shuffle was way to expensive. I've looked at iRiver, creative labs, olympus,Rio and iBulldog MP3 players but none of them really stood out to me. Then I started researching the nano.It has the signature apple iPod clickwheel it's really easy to use and it's got great sound. Well the iPod is easy to use....iTunes is a different story. But I guess you get used to it.All in all the iPod nano is a %99.99999999 great buy. Go get it!
I wondered what all the buzz was about ipods of any size. It looked like a lot more sizzle than anything else. So I did the "smart thing" and bought the 15 gb Dell Digital Juke Box. It worked pretty good and I used it a lot. Of course Dell doesn't sell them anymore so I have an orphan product.
I was at my neighborhood Best Buy and they had the nano. I picked one up touched the wheel and wow. I was hooked it was silky smooth and worked like a dream. Anyway it was close to my birthday so I asked my wife to get me one for the event and she did.
I've had it for several months and I am totally happy with it. I use it while running and have never had a problem with it. The interface is very smooth and intuitive. I don't tend to read manuals and you don't need to with this device.
The included itunes software is another matter. I finally figured it out but it doesn't seem to smooth to me.
I am glad I have the nano ipod. I would do it all over again.
Pros: Small, light unit. Abundance of accessories available. Cons: None come to mind.
As usual, Apple shows the world the way to go. This innovative, ground breaking product will undoubtedly cause an avalanche of imitators. As in the past, they will not match Apple's quality control, reliability and durability. Belongs in the Smithsonian
