Pros: Styling, interior ambiance, lusty engine, comfort, exotic character, reasonable price for the preceding Cons: Hard to shift smoothly, numb steering, trunk space, fuel economy The Bottom Line: Not for everyone. But if you want a luxury sedan with the character of an exotic sports car, nothing else comes close.

2005 Maserati Quattroporte: The Four-Door Supercar

Pros: Acceleration(0-60mph in 5.1sec.), Ferrari-built V8, Exclusive, Gorgeous Styling, Handling, Comfort, Audio-System, Maserati Service Cons: Gas Consumption/Operating Costs, Gearbox in Auto Mode
I first caught sight of the 2005 Maserati Quattroporte at the 2005 New York Auto Show, and from then on I couldn't get my mind off of it. At the time I was in the market for a replacement for my 02' Lexus LS 430 which was coming off lease. At the the time, I had deals made for a 2005 Jaguar S-Type R and another Lexus. However, I just couldn't get the Maserati out of my head and so, I took the jump and purchased one. Now, after owning the new Maser just over six months, I still have no regrets over my decision. The Quattroporte has far exceeded my expections and then some.
