Pros: Surprisingly fluent steering and handling, robust V8 power, excellent driving position, comfortable ride.
Cons: Low and cramped back seat, hard-'n'-grainy interior plastics, poor fuel economy, no third-row seating.
The Bottom Line: Think of the Grand Cherokee as an everyman's BMW X5. It's one of the most fun-to-drive midsize SUVs on the market, but also one of the least practical.

Cons: Unreliable transmission, low quality parts and electronics.

Pros: Body Design and slanted position give Grand Cherokee a sleek rough design while looking sporty
Cons: the gas mileage is ridiculous, seating in the back not all that comfortable
Well i fell in love with the head lights, and the grill. The fog lights ad that special look that this great SUV deserves. I own a silver 2005 Grand Cherokee and i love it for the most part. I have the Laredo model with chrome trim all around, sport alloy wheels, sunroof, leather, heated seats, and i truly like the interior color. The alarm is great, the trunk space is alright the whole SUV is magnificent it looks great after a wash. My friends love it always want to ride it, they practically forgot all about my Honda Passport... They say they have a good time. Stereo is factory but has a complete sound and alright bass. i believe it might need a bit more light in the knobs for the heating/cooling but the rest is ok. when riding in the car its great great acceleration and maneuverability.

Pros: Handles very well, much smoother than my old GC.
Cons: Can't use tall booster or car seats in the positions by the doors in back.
You should know before buying - which we didn't - that the headrest are not removeable in the back seat and as such you have to use very short carseats. If you try to use a taller seat (i.e. Britax, Combi, etc) that offer the great head support you can only put them in the middle - so if you have more than one kid only one can get tall seat. VERY DISAPPOINTED by this. We are considering get another car just for me to drive with the kids & my husband can use the Jeep. I liked this car but its a real bummer you can only have one car seat in the back.
