| More Information |
| Named for one of the most challenging corners on the Le Mans racing circuit, the all-new Arnage was fittingly introduced at the French circuit. It was 70 years ago that a Bentley, powered by a 4.5-liter engine, achieved victory at the 24 hours of Le Mans endurance race. This achievement is the reason a 4.5-liter engine was initially available in the Arnage. (The engine is actually a 4.4 liter, but the automaker calls it a 4.5 for nostalgic reasons). The new power plant was developed with BMW and Cosworth, making it the first engine in nearly 60 years that is unique to the Bentley marque. The Arnage, which had been in development for three years, replaced the Brooklands R and the Turbo RT. |
